6Competition Instructions

(1) Check-in and Material Collection

 Each category has specific deadlines for check-in and material collection. Participants must check in and collect their race packs in person and cannot delegate this task to others. Participants must sign a liability disclaimer on-site (except under special application circumstances, failure to check in on time will be considered as forfeiting participation).

 Participants should check the contents of their race packs and ensure their tracking devices are active and functioning.

 If the participant cannot collect the race pack in person, alternative collection will not include the race number bib, which means no official result or qualification to compete. Uncollected race packs will be sent via SF Express cash-on-delivery after the event.

(2) Stages: Checkpoints and Supply Stations

Race stages are routes between two aid stations (or checkpoints). Supply stations provide food, drinks, clothing changes, and medical services. The basic rules for the stages are as follows:

 All participants must carry mandatory equipment and pass along the designated course, with equipment usually suggested to be kept in a backpack, wearing the number bib properly, and not altered at will. When passing specific checkpoints, race staff will check if the contestant's equipment meets race requirements, and participants should maintain a friendly attitude when penalized for violating mandatory carry regulations or if disqualified.

 Supply stations provide food and water for refilling bottles or hydration packs (bottled drinks are not available). Participants must carry enough supplies when leaving a station to ensure they can safely reach the next checkpoint.

 The 160K and 105K categories offer baggage drop service. The 160K category has a change point at Longmen Qi Village, and the 105K category at Panda Sports Park.

7. Awards

To encourage more elite runners to participate, the event features a prize system. Top male and female finishers in each category will receive cash or equipment prizes, and all finishers will receive a medal. Finisher gifts include a race shirt, medal, and commemorative items.

*Awards are based on gun time. In the case of identical gun times, net times will determine rankings.

*Prize amounts are pre-tax and equal for men and women.

十、赛事安全

1)组委会对赛事安全极度重视,但比赛最大的安全是

• 医务点主要为参赛者与工作人员提供医疗服务;

• 参赛者在受伤或不适条件下可去医务点寻求医疗帮助,或电话号码布上的救援电话告知组委会,或让其他参赛者告知赛事医疗服务人员;

• 任何参赛者对于受伤参赛者的帮助及寻求医务点的帮助都极其重要;

8. Equipment Requirements

During registration and throughout the competition, committee staff will check that participants have all the Mandatory Gear as specified by the event regulations. Participants without all the mandatory equipment will be disqualified or penalized. Throughout the event, participants must carry the following items at all times:

9. Participant Insurance and Medical Aid

The committee will purchase personal accident insurance for all participants and staff during the competition. If insurance cannot be purchased or is invalid due to incomplete or false registration information from the participant, the participant is responsible for the consequences.

The event committee will have volunteers and staff stationed at each CP station to assist with medical aid and maintain order during the race. Clear signs will be placed 50 meters before each medical point to guide participants. In addition, the committee will position a rescue team member every 500 meters (or less) in dangerous areas to assist with emergency medical support. In water zones, safety ropes and other measures will be used at crossing points (details can be found in the event’s medical rescue plan).

10. Event Safety

(1) The committee places extreme importance on event safety, but the greatest safety in a race is the responsibility of athletes for their actions.

(2) The mandatory regulations set in the competition rules are designed for athletes' safety, and participants are expected to understand, respect, and comply with these regulations. These include, but are not limited to, the registration review conditions for various groups, mandatory check-in time requirements, mandatory equipment requirements, and gate closure times for stations.

(3) Participants need to understand that due to the complexity of the event environment, the arrival of rescue personnel may sometimes exceed their expected time; therefore, the materials carried in the race pack can be crucial for their safety.

(4) Event Insurance

The committee has purchased liability insurance that covers the event’s civil liability for any consequences caused by the committee’s actions, as well as covering the economic losses related to event officials and participants. The committee also provides liability insurance for every race participant during the event.

(5) Withdrawal and Evacuation

 The committee prioritizes participant safety and has the right to decide on the evacuation method.

 Participants who are closed out or retire from the race can take evacuation vehicles to the finish point.

 For athletes who are severely injured or lose the ability to move due to illness (as judged by event medical volunteers), the expenses for using ambulance services are borne by the event committee.

 Withdrawal and evacuation methods: Refer to the pre-race announcement.

(6) Medical Emergency

 Medical points will be available at all service stations and can maintain real-time communication with the event command center, which has its own medical team.

 Medical points primarily provide medical services to participants and staff.

 Participants who are injured or unwell can seek medical help at medical points, notify the committee using the rescue phone number on the number cloth, or have other participants inform event medical staff.

 Any assistance a participant provides to injured participants and seeking help from medical points is extremely important.

 Participants need to understand that due to the complexity of the event environment, the arrival of medical personnel may sometimes exceed their expected time; therefore, the materials carried in the race pack can be crucial for their safety.

When a participant requests medical assistance from the event, they are fully authorizing medical personnel to perform necessary temporary medical procedures, such as intravenous injections. Medical personnel will have the authority to decide whether the participant can continue the race or should be transported for medical treatment.

 Medical services related to emergencies are typically initially paid by the participant, and reimbursement involving event insurance can be applied for afterward based on medical record books and times.

 The event committee does not provide any medical protection for any participant who voluntarily leaves the event area and track.

• 该站点是否有能够直接返回起终点的班车;

• 退赛者身体健康状况是否需要尽快返回起终点;

• 对于那些仅可通行小型车的站点或医疗点会考虑随站点的关闭与撤离将参赛者带回终点;

In the event of abnormal weather or other special circumstances, the organizing committee has the right to terminate the race or adjust the cutoff times at each service point.

Simple rest areas are available at the finish line for participants in all categories, but these are only for those who complete the race. These rest areas are not for sleeping or overnight stays. Participants must make their own accommodation arrangements.

15. Withdrawal and Transportation Arrangement

If not due to injury, participants need to withdraw at a service point, notify the station manager, and cut off their wristband. Participants can still use their invalid participant bib number to take transportation, enjoy supply meals and rest area, etc.

The return of withdrawn participants will be arranged by the station manager according to the following rules:

 Whether there is a shuttle bus at the station that can return directly to the start/finish point;

 Whether the health condition of the withdrawn participants requires an urgent return to the start/finish point;

 For stations or medical points that only allow small vehicle access, participants may be brought back to the finish line with the station's closing and evacuation.

In case of weather-related race termination, the organizing committee will ensure participants are returned to the finish line as soon as possible. If participants decide to withdraw during the race, they must return to the previous service point or proceed to the next service point for the withdrawal process. If participants refuse to follow the race officials to the next service point after encountering them, the officials will handle their withdrawal and cut their wristband. Afterward, withdrawn participants will no longer be under the race’s safety control.

16. Race Signs

The race provides clear and visible signs for all participants along the route. For nighttime visibility, reflective strips will be added to signs in the dark.
